Online submission of foreign work permit extension application
1. Time node
0 At least in advance before the expiration of the work permit, submit the website application , Otherwise, the Foreign Special Bureau will no longer accept it. ( can be advanced as early as 120 day submission to the Internet application )
2. Online application process

Note:
1. If you change to a new position within the same unit, including from a professional position to an administrative management position, you must first change the original foreigner's work permit to come to China, and then apply for a foreigner's work permit to come to China according to the procedures.
2. If you change to a new position (profession), you must reapply for a work permit for a foreigner to come to China.
3. If the application for an extension of foreign high-end talents (A category), the corresponding supporting documents must be submitted.
4. All original paper materials and Chinese translations must be uploaded electronically to the processing system.
5. All foreign materials must be submitted with the official seal of the application unit.

After receiving materials from the public security bureau, it generally takes 10 working day ( during peak periods, it usually takes 15 to complete it).
