The total investment of the project is 2.7 billion yuan, and the construction period is from April 2019 to October 2022.

The Tibet Xianghe Water Conservancy Project and supporting irrigation area project is a large (2) water conservancy project focusing on irrigation, water supply, improving the ecological environment of the protected area, and taking into account comprehensive utilization such as power generation. It has significant economic, social and ecological benefits. . According to reports, since the construction of the project, it has actively attracted 17,394 local people to find employment, achieving an increase in income of 33.6508 million yuan; renting local machinery and equipment, helping 91 households in Dana, Redang, Jiacuo and other towns, increasing the per capita income by 10,800 yuan.
