On November 13, 2015, the Taiwan direct flight ship "Dongyue" was appointed to Humen Port. In the past, most goods in Guangdong had to be transported to Central Asia through northern ports such as Lianyungang. According to statistics from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, currently, Dongguan Port has 19 domestic trade routes and 4 international routes, ranking among the top ports in the country. On January 13 this year, the direct flight from Dongguan Port to Southeast Asia was officially opened. This route is affiliated weekly. In addition to providing fast direct flight services to Thailand Linchaban and Vietnam Ho Chi Minh , it can also achieve rapid transit of goods through the developed route network of COSCO Shipping, convenient access to Africa, Southeast Asia, Middle East Red Sea, Europe and other places, opening up the channel for Dongguan cargoes to enter and exit directly from the Dongguan port to countries around the world.

On June 8, 2016, the train was identified as the China-Europe freight train brand, and it departed from Dongguan and other 8 places on the same day after the unified brand and logo.
In April this year, this train, which is related to the development of the "Belt and Road" project, achieved a new breakthrough. On April 11, the "China-Europe Two-way Freight Train" X 8426 (Shilong-Volsino) was officially launched, and China and Russia jointly created a "new channel" of trade and logistics across about 12,000 kilometers. The two-way train will start to operate weekly shifts in May.
