Recently, under the supervision of Dongguan Customs, Huangpu Customs, dozens of containers full of exported household appliances took the China-Europe freight train from the Guangdong (Shilong) Railway International Logistics Base to "set up" and arrived at the destination Kovolsino Station in more than 10 days, and then delivered to major local stores.
Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area high-quality home appliances such as air conditioners, fresh-cooling cabinets, sweeping robots, dishwashers, etc. manufactured by enterprises in the European market are very popular. In recent years, high-quality local home appliances have been continuously exported to Europe through the China-Europe Express. According to statistics, from January to July 2022, Dongguan Customs supervised a total of 363,400 household appliances exported by China-Europe freight trains, with a value of 279 million yuan.
Time back to December 2015, the first "Guangdong-Man and Russia" train departed from Shilong, Dongguan and arrived in Russia via Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia. Not only that, Dongguan has actively optimized the market environment in the past five years, so that foreign capital can not only "in", but also "live well"; insist on walking on two legs of "foreign trade + domestic sales" and cultivate a new market for Dongguan's foreign trade in adversity.
As of now, Dongguan has more than 13,000 foreign-invested enterprises, with a total contract utilization of US$103.4 billion and a total actual utilization of US$82.5 billion.

According to customs statistics, from 2012 to 2021, Dongguan's foreign trade import and export volume increased from 912.44 billion yuan to 1524.7 billion yuan, with an average annual growth of 5.9%, and its contribution rate to my country's foreign trade growth reached 4.2%.
