Information communication and network security technology are important basic guarantees of the energy Internet and have played an important supporting role in all links of the power grid. At present, State Grid Co., Ltd. has built the world's largest integrated group-level information system, and has built a "nervous system" for power grid operation, basically realizing advanced information processing, efficient communication transmission, and network security guarantee, providing strong support for the gradual transformation of the power grid into an open and shared, flexible and flexible energy Internet. Against the backdrop of the accelerated upgrade of the power grid to the energy Internet, the new generation of information technology, communication technology and network security technology will be more deeply integrated and present a new development trend.

Energy Internet Information Technology is more intelligent and efficient

Energy Internet has coordinated interactions with various elements of "source-network-load-storage-people", which has greatly increased the challenges of random data generation in different systems and uneven data distribution. The massive and distributed characteristics of data have put forward new requirements for the construction of data processing algorithms, data processing mechanisms, and data processing infrastructure.

Currently, information technology represented by cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, etc. has become the dominant force in global economic development. At the same time, new generation information technologies such as quantum computing and digital twins are gradually coming out of their infancy and have initially shown their development potential. The support of information technology for the development of energy Internet will be characterized by intelligence and efficiency.

In the future, the autonomous evolution mechanism of various subsystems of the energy Internet, the disturbed cross-domain propagation mechanism, cross-domain reasoning prediction algorithms, etc. will support digital twins to achieve efficient deduction of the real world. Break through the basic theories and key technologies of hybrid intelligence, such as multi-manual knowledge construction and reasoning, and the hybrid intelligence online optimization of virtual and real interaction, and will realize the computing and processing of complex problems and the empowerment of systems.

●The hybrid architecture of quantum algorithms and traditional algorithms can support the large-scale parallel computing requirements of the energy Internet

The calculation and storage requirements of massive data have made the data centers consume electricity more and more, and it is necessary to break through key technologies of high-efficiency data centers. Fully immersion liquid cooling technology and ultra-high energy efficiency data center technology with power usage efficiency less than 1.1 represent the technical capabilities of infrastructure in the future field of information technology and also meet the development needs of the energy Internet for data center technology.

Energy Internet communication technology evolves toward wisdom and intelligent connection of all things

Future business changes require the energy Internet to have deep perception and flexible interaction capabilities, and it is necessary to significantly improve the support capabilities of information and communication for power grid services. This puts forward new requirements for the capacity of information and communications, as well as their ubiquity, openness, interaction, intelligence and credibility. Communication technology is an important guarantee for realizing holographic perception of power grid status, comprehensive data connection, full service online, and flexible service interaction.

With the development trend of personalization, holographic interaction, and human-computer collaboration, new services that may be born in communication technology in the future will be further expanded to the perception of the Internet, presenting the characteristics of intelligent connection between everything, and deeply integrating with vertical industries such as the energy field.The application research of the new generation of communication technology and the development of customized power products can improve network capacity, strengthen the breadth and depth coverage of wireless networks, reduce business delays, and fully and deeply sense the operation, status and environmental information of the source and network load storage equipment; through optimized scheduling, coordinated control across regions to improve the ability of new energy consumption; through extensive interconnection of power transmission and transformation and distribution equipment, and in-depth collection of information, it can improve on-site fault handling, precise and proactive emergency repair, three-phase imbalance governance and regional energy autonomy, and improve power supply reliability.

The new generation of 5G/6G technology, information physics system simulation technology, satellite Internet technology, etc. will provide support for the development of energy Internet communications. As a new generation of wireless communication technology, 5G has a peak rate of 20 times higher than 4G, and the wireless air interface delay is reduced to milliseconds, and the connection density is one million per square kilometer. This allows 5G wireless communication technology to meet the needs of the industrial Internet for networks. In the future, 5G technology will focus on a variety of technologies such as wide coverage, large connections, terahertz communications, ultra-large-scale antennas, new modulation and coding, and new duplex technologies, and will fully create three typical scenarios of 5G: grid control services with typical low latency and high reliability services, grid acquisition services with large connections and large bandwidth needs, and mobile application services with wide coverage and network mobile application needs.

In the future, 6G will deeply integrate communication, information, big data, artificial intelligence and control technology, and will show extremely strong interdisciplinary and cross-domain characteristics. The network will support flexible reconstruction and have the ability to integrate perception-communication-computing collaboration, forming a three-dimensional, three-dimensional, comprehensive coverage integrated communication network with space-based and space-based integrated space-based foundations.

Information physics system simulation technology is also one of the development directions, and will support the improvement of the measurement perception, intelligent analysis and feedback control capabilities of the physical system. Network security technology develops towards dynamic intelligence and active defense

In the energy Internet, problems such as complex equipment composition, numerous terminal equipment, multi-network integration, open architecture, and blurred boundaries between internal and external networks have brought severe challenges to the energy Internet network security. Against the backdrop of frequent cybersecurity attacks in the global power industry, it is necessary to focus on strengthening the level of cybersecurity protection of the energy Internet.

The development of my country's power network security has gone through three stages: system-free protection, border isolation passive protection, and passive protection to active defense. Entering the stage of energy Internet construction, the power grid is facing the situation of extending network boundaries outward and deepening of data fusion and sharing. In addition, new technologies such as quantum computing pose a threat to the durability of isolated networks. The traditional power grid protection system that is mainly guarded and "closed and isolated" can no longer meet the security needs of the future energy Internet.

The network security protection system of the energy Internet will break the passive security defense system through the "hierarchical domain, trusted access, intelligent perception, and dynamic protection" strategy and transform to a dynamic and intelligent active security defense system. It is necessary to study technologies such as dynamic defense, situational awareness, trusted computing and post-quantum cryptography to form a multi-level and comprehensive network security guarantee system.
