Wang Tianyu's wife Ke Yicui is also a front-line policeman on duty at Zhanjiang Border Inspection Station. Her elderly grandmother lives with them and has two cute daughters who are in school. The couple both went on duty, and only the elderly and children were left at home. Wang Tianyu was worried, so after settling down his wife, he called his grandmother again.
"Don't worry about us, you must pay attention to your safety when on duty." Grandma repeatedly reminded Wang Tianyu, the corners of her eyes were wet.
"At present, preventing the serious risk of imported epidemics from overseas and strengthening port risk assessment and on-site inspections is a key task I need to do." In July, Zhanjiang, located at the southernmost tip of mainland China, was less than 9 a.m., before 9 a.m., the sun had already made the ground hot. A large-scale high-temperature weather has continued to affect all parts of the country for several days, bringing challenges to epidemic prevention and control.
Being scorched by the sun and wearing stuffy and breathable protective clothing, Wang Tianyu and his colleagues have to patrol along the dock twice a day, each time taking more than two hours. 20,000 steps, 30,000 steps... While Wang Tian refreshed the number of steps, he also built a steel Great Wall to prevent imports from outside. After working in high temperatures for a long time, Wang Tianyu said with a smile that the clothes under the protective suits seemed to be able to be wrung out of salt. In addition to stationing at the port and doing a good job in entering and exit inspections of ships and crew, Wang Tianyu also has to go to the port to carry out epidemic prevention and control publicity.
