On December 23, a netizen revealed that a teacher at a primary school in Huating, Gansu injured more than a dozen students with plastic water pipes. Several pictures provided by him showed that several elementary school students had swollen hands and blood stasis at their fingertips, and one of them was covered with bruises from their ankles to their thighs.

One of the students' parents told the Beijing News reporter that the teacher involved was the third-grade class teacher of Xinzhuang Primary School in Hexi Town, Huating City. "The fight was lighter at the beginning of school, not that serious. From December 19 to the 22nd, the teacher said that the exam was necessary and the arrest was stricter."
On December 24, a reporter from the Beijing News called the Safety Office of the Huating Municipal Education Bureau. A staff member said that after understanding that the situation reported online was true, the Education Bureau set up an investigation team to suspend classes and ordered him to make a profound inspection. In the afternoon, an inspection was conducted at the town-wide teacher conference. The local area has arranged personnel to express condolences to the injured students and arrange for psychological teachers to provide guidance.
