According to the United Nations plan, the British will end its mandate for Palestine in 1948. At that time, the Arabs and Jews on the land will establish their own "Arab State" and "Jewish State" respectively. However, War may also break out on this day. What makes the Arabs even more indignant is that the land allocated to the Jews is located on the fertile plains along the coast, while the Arabs are not only small but mostly located in barren hills inland.
