The original site of Wang Jingwei's cemetery is located in the present "Guanmeixuan". The picture shows Wang Jingwei and his wife.
Guanmeixuan is about 16 meters long from east to west and is divided into three rooms, each with a south and north entrance on the protruding part of the east and west. There are brick railings around the pavilion. The entire pavilion is a mixed structure, covered with blue glazed tiles, yellow walls and red pillars, integrating Eastern and Western cultures.
In order to prevent visitors from associating the pavilion with Wang Jingwei’s tomb, and at the same time to encourage visitors, Shen Pengfei and others, who were specifically responsible for the renovation of the surface of Wang’s grave at the time, drafted two entries for the north and south entrances of the pavilion based on the allusions of plum blossoms and the historical sites of Emperor Sun Quan The name and the two eaves couplets were written on the pavilion after being reviewed and approved by Sun Ke.
This is the cemetery of Wang Jingwei before the bombing. Chen Bijun was afraid that someone would destroy the corpse of the tomb in the future. He specifically asked the puppet government to mix five tons of broken steel into the concrete and pour it on the tomb shell in order to prevent the robbery of the tomb and keep it. The whole body of the husband will not be humiliated.
However, after the engineers blasted, they found Wang Jingwei’s nanmu coffin. When the coffin was opened, Wang Jingwei’s body was covered with a blue sky and a red flag on the ground. The body was dressed in a pseudo-government official dress, a navy blue robe and a mantle, and a top hat. The waist wears a large ribbon; the face is slightly brown with some black spots. Because preservatives were used when entering the coffin, the entire body remained intact and did not rot. And found in Wang Jingwei's pocket a three-inch piece of paper with four four "souls coming back" written on it, which has the meaning of evocative spirits. Seeing these four words, most of the people present showed a look of fear
