According to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the "National Science Education Summer School" primary and secondary school teacher training summary and the launch meeting of the special science teacher training class was held in Beijing on the same day. In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20 National Congress and jointly promote education, science and technology and talent work, this meeting comprehensively summarizes the work results and experiences of the "National Science Education Summer School" in 2022, and launches the "Special Science Teacher Training Class" pilot to continuously improve teachers' scientific literacy, comprehensively help improve science education, and vigorously strengthen the cultivation of innovative talents. The "Special Science Teacher Research Class" held for the first time this year will be coordinated by the Administrative Administration of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, relying on experts, scholars, experimental venues, scientific installations, museums and other scientific and educational resources from the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Zoology, Institute of Automation, Shanghai Observatory, Shenzhen Advanced Technology Research Institute , Kunming Botany Research Institute , Kunming Botany Research Institute , Kunming Botany Research Institute , 6 special training classes with distinctive themes, rich content and diverse forms, allowing key scientific teachers in primary and secondary schools to enter the research institutes, deeply participate in scientific practice, master scientific research methods, and feel the spirit of scientists, thereby improving scientific literacy and practical ability of science education.
It is understood that the 2022 "National Science Education Summer School" primary and secondary school teacher training is participated by 19 academicians and more than 200 science and technology and education experts. It is a training activity for primary and secondary school teachers with large scale, high level and strong demonstration. It plays an important role in expanding scientific horizons, popularizing scientific knowledge, cultivating scientific interests, improving practical ability, and improving teachers' scientific literacy.
The training activity was held from July 20 to September 9 this year.
