　　　Ming Dynasty 　In the spring of the 43rd year of Jiajing, a monk Yijiang from Beijing went to Wutai Mountain and visited the mountain. When he arrived at the foot of Zhongtai, he saw an old woman with white hair, only a torn and short clothes, and the weather was shivering in the cold.

Seeing her lonely and sad expression, he stepped forward and asked:

"Old woman, what's wrong with you?"

"I am alone, my stomach is hungry and hungry, and the weather is cold. Alas! What's the solution?"

Yijiang sympathized with her very much, so he took off one of his robes and draped them on the old woman to keep the cold, and gave her part of the dry food she brought, and even bowed to her to show respect.

Other monks who happened to visit the mountain saw this situation and thought it was impossible, and said:

"The master is a model of man and god, but he respects poor women. Is this right? You must know that Buddhist monks must never bow to lay Buddhists in white!"

But Yijiang replied:

"I think the realm I see now is difficult to measure. If you visit Qingliangshan , you don't need to have a discriminatory mind!"
