Nanyue Jinlun can be a Zen master, the heir of Zen master Xuefeng Yicun, his common surname is Xue, and he is from Futang.
When I visited Xuefeng for the first time, Zen Master Xuefeng said, "Come closer!"
Zen Master Guan Kuang then came forward to bow. Zen Master Xuefeng suddenly kicked him.
It can be seen that the Zen master’s words suddenly became clear and enlightened.
After enlightenment, Zen Master Kuang Kuang served Zen Master Xuefeng for twelve years. After that, he visited the jungle and lived in Nanyue Jinlun to receive people.
This kind of kick has the same teaching function as Tokuyama's stick and Rinzai 's drink. After enlightenment, Master Kuang continued to study with Zen Master Yicun for twenty years.
Later, when he was teaching Dharma on his own, he once attended the church and mentioned his enlightenment experience. He said: I was kicked by him in Xuefeng. To this day, I can't open my eyes. I don't know what state I am in.

A monk asked: "The ancients said that Vairocana has a teacher, and the Dharmakaya has a master. Who is the master of Vairocana and the master of the Dharmakaya?" Master Keng Keng said: "You can't put a bed on the bed."
People only know that "going to have tea" is a Zen motto and a Zen French, but they don't know that "not having tea" is also a Zen motto. According to the "Wu Deng Hui Yuan": "The golden wheel can be seen by the Zen master, and he asked: 'Who is the person from the Shangzong vehicle?' The master said: 'I have not had tea today.'" "Go to have tea" and "have not had tea" are both Zen language French, advocating "enlightenment", that is: eating tea to understand, gradually realize the original emptiness, and transcend the material self.
All sentient beings originally possess the wisdom and virtue of the Tathagata. Just because of a single thought, the Buddha becomes a living being; and when a single thought is awakened, all living beings become a Buddha. In order to make all living beings turn away from confusion and enlightenment, Zen Buddhism cuts kudzu vines directly, removes stickiness and unblocks, and directly points to the heart. However, the method of pointing directly to the heart is an endless method of "the wonderful principles of the Buddhas (Zen, mind), not words". As long as there is an opportunity, an ordinary saying of "not having tea" can also make the scholar break away from doubts, break the confusion and become enlightened.
