The orifice covering the ears and eyes is also the door of my body. A small square inch of land is my home. The orifice that establishes my destiny is also the room of my body. Therefore, people's hearts are in a small place, just like people are in a hall, and the sounds and colors can be shaken from the door. The human heart is hidden in the orifice of establishing life, just like when a person is in a room, and there is no way to get a glimpse of the sounds and colors. Therefore, those with a good heart will hide in the room and hide their eyes and ears. The imperial hall is for listening to government affairs, and the ears and eyes are for the purpose. If you don't uphold the Confucian Mind Dharma while sitting, you are sitting and galloping, which means you have peace of mind.
Tan Sutra says: The mind cannot stop thinking, which is called sitting, and the immobility of one's own nature is called sitting in meditation. The wonderful meaning of Zen is nothing more than this.
