On October 28, according to macromors, there were feedback from multiple users in Reddit, Twitter and Apple support community forum that after their phones are updated to iOS 16.1, the phone will have Wi-Fi disconnection problems.
These users say that although their environment using iPhone has not changed, iPhone Wi-Fi will be disconnected periodically throughout the day, and sometimes randomly disconnected. Some users also say that when the phone is in standby mode at night, the iPhone sometimes disconnects Wi-Fi, so some users try to reset the phone's network settings, but it has no effect.

Apple officially released iOS 16.1 last week, bringing users a number of new features, including iCloud shared photo gallery. At the same time, support for third-party apps has been added to the real-time event, as well as other features and bug fixes for iPhones.
This week, Apple began beta testing of iOS 16.2, which is expected to be released later in November. It is not clear whether Apple plans to release temporary updates to address Wi-Fi connectivity issues and other issues users have encountered.
