The origins of the current scope of practice of physicians come from the 2001 "Interim Provisions on the Scope of Practice in Physician Registration" issued by the former Ministry of Health in 2001 (Weiyifa [2001] No. 169), which stipulates the practice of dental practitioners Scope:

In order to facilitate the practice of primary-level doctors, reduce the labor costs of primary-level medical institutions, and eliminate policy worries, Henan Provincial Health Commission promotes a multi-professional registration system for doctors and clarifies that doctors practicing in primary-level medical institutions can register for up to 3 scopes of practice. Regulations apply to dental practitioners.

The most important thing is that after changing the practice institution, the scope of practice can remain unchanged, and one can practice in multiple specialties under the premise of meeting the working conditions of medical institutions.
