The quality management circle project selected by our hospital nursing team - the "heart protection circle" of the Cardiology Department won the third prize of tertiary hospital nursing in the 6th Hospital Quality Management Circle Competition. The sixth hospital quality control circle competition was conducted using video recording and online evaluation. A total of 506 circle groups from all levels and types of medical institutions across the province participated in the competition. This is the first time our hospital has participated in the Jiangsu Provincial Quality Management Circle Competition as a tertiary hospital, and it is also another new breakthrough in the nursing quality management circle of our hospital. Under the guidance of the Nursing Department and Head Nurse Tang Xiaojuanke, this competition was given professional, comprehensive and considerate help and support from definition scrutiny, data review, courseware improvement, speech tutoring, clothing selection and professional shooting, so that the contestants could feel the power and warmth of teamwork, and finally achieved excellent results in the Jiangsu Quality Management Circle Competition. Medical quality and safety management are the cornerstone and core of hospital management. The quality control circle is an important tool for hospital total quality management . As an effective quality control management tool, it has subtly improved and affected nursing work. Under the leadership of the Nursing Department, our hospital has started quality control circle activities since 2013, and has participated in the ten nursing quality control circle competitions, and has achieved many excellent results in national, provincial and municipal quality control circle competitions.
