In order to improve the quality of medical care during pregnancy and childbirth in the region, continuously improve the level of eugenics and postnatal care services, and fully safeguard the lives and health of women and children, a quality control training course on pregnancy and childbirth management in the region was held on June 30, 2022. This training was delivered by Gao Yuting, deputy director of the Lingcheng District Health Bureau, who explained the work objectives, implementation scope, implementation content, and division of responsibilities of quality control during pregnancy and childbirth.
This training is centered on maternal and infant safety, with the concept of "full life cycle, full service process", providing full-process health services to women from registration of marriage to 42 days postpartum, and actively implementing maternal and infant safety action improvement plans and optimizations. Early warning mechanism for high-risk pregnant women and establishment of special project management for key groups to achieve "moving the gate forward, moving the target upward, and moving the focus downward." The management rate of high-risk pregnant women in the region has reached 100%, and the maternal mortality rate, infant mortality rate and mortality rate of children under 5 years of age have been steadily declining.
