At 8 am today (14th), the center of the "banyan tree" was located on the sea surface at 22.6° north latitude and 163.4° east longitude, with a maximum wind speed of 42m/s.
It is expected that the "banyan tree" will move northwest to northeastward at a speed of 10-15 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will continue to increase, with the strongest reaching a strong typhoon level (45-50 meters/sec, level 14-15).
Will typhoon affect Foshan ?
