definition: free hitting rights
1. When one party commits a foul, the opponent can place the main ball in any position on the table to start hitting the ball.
2. Free ball after line means that when the kickoff side commits a foul, the party who gets the free ball can only place the main ball at any time after the kickoff line and can only hit any target ball between the open ball line and the top edge.
1. Match method
8 ball game uses the same main ball (white) and a total of 15 target balls, balls 1 to 7 are the whole color ball, number 8 is the black ball, number 9 to 15 is the double color ball (also known as the suit color ball).
Both sides of the game determine a ball (full color or suit) according to the rules as their legal target ball. After hitting all the target balls of this party according to the rules, the side that hits the No. 8 ball into the bag will win the game. If one side accidentally hits the No. 8 ball into the bag midway or hits the No. 8 ball off the table, the opponent will win the game.
2. Place the ball
Before kickoff, the target ball is arranged in a triangle, with a total of 5 rows, and the number of balls in each volleyball is one to 5. One ball in the first row is placed at the 'ball point', and the No. 8 ball is located in the middle of the third row. The other target balls are separated by the full color and the suits, but must be closely attached to each other. Both sides of the game have the right to check whether the ball is placed in compliance with the rules and require corrections.
3. Tapping
1. The determination of the first game kick-off rights is made by both sides hitting two main balls of the same specification to the bottom side at the same time after the kick-off line, and bounce back and stopping when hitting the bottom side. The side close to the top side gets the kick-off.
If the shot hits the ball without the bottom edge or into the bag, it is a foul, and the opponent will get the kick-off right; if the balls from both sides are the same distance from the top edge, it is impossible to determine or both sides foul, then re-operate until one side gets the kick-off right.
2. This game adopts a rotational kick-off system for both sides.
3. After kickoff, any target ball must be entered into the bag or at least 4 target balls must be touched by the side of the table. If the main ball jumps off the table after the kickoff, the host jumps into the bag or touches the side of the table with less than 4 target balls, it is a foul.
Punishment for violating this rule: the opponent may request the ball to be slapped, and the foul party will re-activate the ball; or the opponent will freely hit the ball after the line is obtained.
4. If the No. 8 ball is directly put into the bag after the kickoff, the kickoff side will re-activate the ball.
5. If there is no goal or foul after the kickoff, the opponent will continue to hit the ball.
4. Determine the suit
1. After one party scores a legal goal in the open ball game, the type of goal (full color or suit) is the legal goal ball of the party in the game, and the other type of ball is the legal goal ball of the opponent in the game, and the ball game is closed.
2. The ball is put into the bag on the kickoff. Regardless of the number, suit, order, the kickoff party continues to hit the ball and has the right to continue to choose the type. After that, if the ball he chose is legally inserted into the bag, the ball game will be closed; if the ball game he chose is not inserted into the bag, the ball game will be open, and the opponent can continue to choose the type; if the ball he chose is inserted into the bag, but is accompanied by the main ball or the main ball, the target ball is issued and the opponent will be free to hit the ball.
3. When the ball game is open, the batting party can use a ball of one suit to indirectly pass the ball of different suits into the bag or use a No. 8 ball to pass other target balls into the bag without fouling, but the goal cannot close the ball game and replace the opponent with a shot.
5. Hit
1. Players do not need to specify the ball into the bag or the bag mouth each time they hit the ball (except when playing No. 8). If there is no foul in the entire process of hitting, the target ball of this party is valid and will be given the right to continue hitting: if the target ball of this party is entered into the bag and the opponent's target ball is entered into the bag, the opponent's target ball will no longer be taken out; if only the target ball of the opponent is entered into the bag, the opponent will not be fouled, and the opponent will hit the ball.
2. After either party hits the ball, the first thing the main ball touches is the target ball of the main ball (after all the target balls of this side have been put into the bag, the No. 8 ball is the target ball of this side) for violation of this rule: the opponent is free to hit the ball
3. After one party hits the main ball and touches the target ball, if no target ball is put into the bag, at least one ball must touch the side of the table (including the main ball). Penalty for violating this rule: the opponent is given the right to hit the ball freely.
4. After hitting the ball, the target ball and main ball that are not in the bag must stay on the table.
Penalty for violating this rule: If the No. 8 ball stays outside the table, the hitter will lose the game; if other balls stay outside the table, the opponent will be free to hit the ball, and the target ball that jumps out of the table will disappear reasonably.
5. During the batting process (including before and after the pole is released), any body part (including clothing) and equipment (including shaft, rod, and powder rubbing) of the batter shall not touch any ball on the table.
6. During a hit, the club head cannot touch the main ball more than twice (including twice).
Punishment for violating these rules: the opponent is given the right to hit the ball freely.
6. sticker
1. When the main ball is attached to the target ball on the table, the hitting party can move the target ball after hitting the main ball, and there is no limit on the angle of the exit, but the hitting action must be obvious. If the reverse hit, the target ball does not move, which does not have touched the target ball.
Punishment for violating this rule: the opponent is given the right to hit the ball freely.
2. When the main ball is matched with the target ball not on the table, after the hitting party hits the main ball, the target ball cannot be moved directly due to the hit.
3. When the target ball is attached to the side of the table, after the main ball hits the target ball, the target ball must leave the side of the table and touch the side of the table again, or there are other balls, touch the side of the table or the target ball is put into the bag.
Punishment for violating this rule: the opponent is given the right to hit the ball freely.
7. Jump ball
1. The batting can hit the main ball off the table according to technical needs, and jump over other target balls to directly hit the target ball on the side. But Rule V's clause still applies.
2. When jumping the ball, the hitter can only use the club head to hit the area above 1/2 of the main ball, and the club used cannot be shorter than 90 cm.
Punishment for violating this rule: the opponent is given the right to hit the ball freely.
8. Loss
1. The opponent hits the No. 8 ball without a foul and falls into the designated ball bag.
2. Before hitting all the target balls of this party into the bag, the No. 8 ball was first hit into the bag.
3. Hit the No. 8 ball out of the table (except when kicking off).
4. When hitting No. 8 ball, the main ball and No. 8 ball fall into the pocket at the same time. (Sequentially)
5. The goal bag scored when playing No. 8 ball is not a designated ball bag
9. Judgment
All fouls of the player must be made before the opponent's next shot, otherwise it will be deemed that no fouls have occurred. (Referee)
10. Stalemate
If the referee believes (if there is no referee, it is determined by both players) any player hits the target ball on the table or moves the table, and will lose the game, each player will give three shots (the two sides have 6 times in total). If both sides still fail to deal with the situation, the game of this game should be judged as a deadlock. The original kickoff team re-activates the ball. This rule applies to any time during the game, no matter how many balls are left, as long as both parties agree.
