Xiziwan is located on the west side of Kaohsiung City. During the early Qing Dynasty, it was named "Yanglu Bay" and "Yangziwan". Xiziwan is adjacent to Wanshou Mountain in the north and Qijin Peninsula in the south. It is about 20 minutes drive from the city center. It was originally a Bayao, famous for its sea baths and natural coral reefs. It was later developed by Kaohsiung City Government and standardized into a complete scenic spot.
