According to Russian News Agency on October 12, late at night on the 11th local time, the Polish operator PERN oil pipeline company found a leak point in a branch line of the Polish "Friendship" pipeline. It is not clear why the "Friendship" oil pipeline leaked.

PERN pointed out that this is a main line that transports oil to Germany. At present, the company's emergency service department and relevant Polish departments have sent personnel to the site to evaluate the situation and carry out pipeline repair work. "Friendship" oil pipeline transports oil from Russia to many European countries. It originated from the Samara region, passed through Bryansk , and then divided into two branches. The northern line leads to Germany and Poland through Belarus , and the southern line connects Czech , Slovak and Hungary through Ukraine.
