Back then, many people had imagined whether their senior year life would be as colorful and happy as Jiaying Middle School in this drama?

As post-80s generation, most of us have never encountered a personality teacher like Gu Yuetao, and we don’t have many personality classmates like , Shi Yanfeng, and there are no special events worthy of writing in our daily study and life. We have all had the "Eighteen-year-old sky", and the sky over there is not what it looks like in TV series after all.

Since "The Sky at Eighteen" obviously has nothing to do with our youth, why are there many viewers still obsessed with it twenty years later? Perhaps, the ending of this drama itself is very meaningful. Under the leadership of Teacher Gu Yuetao, Class 8 of High School finally achieved good results in the simulation exam. Now, the cute class teacher can finally stay. But, then what? The TV series came to an abrupt end. Whether intentionally or unintentionally, "Eighteen-Year-Old Sky" perfectly avoids these headache-inducing problems. If "The Flower Season of Sixteen" tells the troubles of youth and " Don't Cry at the Seventeen" shows the youthfulness of youth, then what is left in this drama is a beautiful and yearning dream. This dream may not be realistic, but it is worth cherishing and commemorating by each of us.
