This is the scene of the fire evacuation and escape drill held by Songbai Middle School in the junior high school department recently.
During the fire drill, after a tense and orderly evacuation, the teachers and students gathered in the playground, and the class teacher immediately counted the number of people and reported to the senior class. Next, the senior year's senior reports to the deputy commander-in-chief the total number of people to attend each year and the actual number of people to attend each year to ensure that there are no remaining people in the fire.
In this escape drill, more than 2,000 teachers and students from the junior high school of Songbai Middle School took 2 minutes and 2 seconds, and nearly 2,000 teachers and students from the senior high school of Songbai Middle School took 4 minutes. During the evacuation, all the staff were agile and no accidents such as pushing, impacting, and stamping occurred.
Then, the commander of the Special Service Squadron introduced common escape methods to teachers and students, such as waiting for rescue in place, upward escape method, and precautions during operation. Firefighters ignited the burning substance in the drill barrel, and the commander personally demonstrated and explained in detail how to use the fire extinguisher. Under the guidance of the firefighters, teacher representatives, student representatives and canteen employee representatives carried out fire extinguishing operations in turn, and initially mastered the use of fire extinguishers and improved their ability to extinguish initial fires.
This drill is conducted by Principal Chen Lubo as the commander-in-chief, Vice Principal Lu Lifang as the deputy commander-in-chief, and all teachers, students and staff actively participate.
