Resident representative Shi Jianyu told reporters that on July 30 last year, they caught up with the "first train" to install elevators in existing residences in Changzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, using a small building block elevator solution. In December last year It was completed and put into operation. At that time, they didn't know that there would be financial subsidies for installing elevators. In order to share the funds for upstairs and downstairs, they even visited each house to do the work.
In February this year, the "Application Method for Fiscal Fund Subsidies for Installing Elevators in Existing Residences in Changzhou Economic Development Zone" was officially released. “It took us less than a week from applying to receiving the subsidy,” said Jianyu happily.
Xu Haijiang, deputy director of the Changzhou Economic Development Zone Construction Management Service Center, introduced that for elevator installation projects that have passed the review, the price is 100,000 yuan/unit for six floors and above, 90,000 yuan/unit for five floors, and 8 yuan for four floors and below. Subsidy will be provided at the standard of RMB 10,000/unit. The construction entity shall fill out the application form at the convenience service point for installing elevators in its territory and provide relevant materials to apply. Currently, there are 6 elevator-adding projects under construction in the district, all of which are planned to be completed within the year.
The reporter learned from the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau that coordinating policy resources to promote the installation of elevators in existing residences is one of the practical projects for people's livelihood in our country this year. Focusing on the goal of "promoting 180 units within the year", the bureau is further increasing policy publicity and simplifying the procedures for installing elevators. Since the beginning of this year, 64 units have been started, of which 8 have been completed.
