Director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Department of the National Tourism Administration and Secretary-General of the Cross-Strait Tourism Exchange Association Liu Kezhi led 27 mainland provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and Xinjiang production A total of more than 600 people from tourism agencies and enterprises of the Construction Corps went to Taiwan to participate in the exhibition. Due to its well-prepared marketing activities, outstanding booth design themes, novel on-site promotion methods, and fruitful results in exhibition and sales, the Shandong Pavilion won the "Best Booth Award" and "Best Organization Award" issued by the Cross-Strait Tourism Exchange Association.

During the tourism exhibition, Qingdao and other cities introduced tourism resources and products at the exhibition venue, which was welcomed by the industry. Yantai City published picture advertisements of tourist attractions on 150 buses on many lines in Taipei city (for a period of three months), attracting the attention of Taiwanese people, and the effect was very good.

Shandong has rented a total of 14 booths for this travel exhibition. With the theme of the New Year's party, the three-dimensional special decorations were built to fully demonstrate the traditional folk customs of Shandong's prosperous New Year. After several years of continuous publicity and creation, "Celebrate the Happy New Year in Shandong" has formed a good reputation among Taiwan's tourism industry and people, and the brand effect has initially appeared.

In view of the characteristics of the Taiwan Tourism Exhibition of "exhibition and sales combined, sales-oriented", Shandong Province has teamed up with some travel agencies to carefully prepare and launch a number of special discount routes for travel exhibition sales, and the sales scene is booming. According to incomplete statistics, during the four days of the travel fair, the major cooperative travel agencies in Shandong Province received nearly 1,000 customers, with a turnover of nearly NT$20 million, ushering in a good start for the winter off-season market.

In order to strengthen the interaction with the Taiwanese people, the Shandong booth specially invited Taiwanese hosts to promote Shandong tourism on the spot, supplemented by a prize-winning Q&A activity, the booth was very popular. In 4 days, a total of 16 host introductions and lucky draws were held, and more than 15,000 copies of various tourism promotional materials were distributed, especially cloth tiger with rich Shandong cultural characteristics, paper-cuts, postcards and other tourism marketing souvenirs. It is deeply loved by Taiwanese people.

This year, the Shandong Provincial Tourism Development Commission launched the "Shandong Province Tourism Products Overseas" in Taiwan "Measures for Preferring Cooperation Channel Providers" and recruited 7 partners. During the travel exhibition, the Shandong delegation reasonably arranged promotional activities, took advantage of every opportunity, and visited local cooperative channel vendors one by one. Through discussions and exchanges, they further understood the market information and the annual product sales situation, and conducted preliminary discussions on next year's cooperation plan.
