●In the first year of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty (1506), 90 farmers from Guangdong armed and marched into Yongchun and Dehua . The officers and soldiers along the way could not resist.
●In the fifth year of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty (1510), Guangdong peasant armed forces attacked Yongchun again.
Although there are only a few descriptions of this peasant uprising in the Yongchun County Chronicle, it gives us a lot of room for imagination. A mere 90 peasant armed forces could actually climb mountains and wading from Guangdong to Quanzhou . The officers and soldiers along the way could not resist. One reason was that the combat effectiveness of the local officers and soldiers in Quanzhou at that time was too weak, and because the number of peasant soldiers was too small, they did not pay attention to it. The other reason was that the 90 peasant armed forces may all be martial arts masters with high martial arts skills, and their martial arts skills were similar to the Water Margin heroes of the late Northern Song Dynasty .
In the fifth year of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty (1510), Guangdong peasant armed forces attacked Yongchun again. Since the word "again" is used, it is very likely that the same peasant army is still the same. After four years of operation, it has not been wiped out and has made a comeback. Its vitality is indeed tenacious and its combat power cannot be underestimated.
Since the government is so unsatisfactory, it should have invited the monks from Nan Shaolin in Quanzhou to come out of the mountain and sent 90 Shaolin masters to fight, and it is estimated that they will be wiped out long ago.
" Water Margin ", there are 108 heroes, but there are many minions under it, which is definitely a large-scale and institutional armed force. In our impression, peasant uprisings must at least gather thousands of people to conquer cities and show their power. Those who are dozens or hundreds of dollars can only stay in the parable and rob nearby, and are embarrassed to go out for a walk. This peasant army in Guangdong has fought for many years across two provinces with just 90 people, which is really amazing.
