Xia Zhengnong (1904-2008), an old soldier and honorary president of the New Fourth Army, joined the party in 1926, participated in the Nanchang Uprising in 1927. In 1938, he joined the New Fourth Army. In 2002, he served as editor-in-chief of "Da Cihai" for the third time at the age of 98, becoming the oldest editor-in-chief of large-scale dictionary in the world. At the age of 100, I wrote a poem: "Life is a hundred years old, and happiness is as fragrant as the evening festival. I am willing to cherish it for a limited time and complete the last chapter." At the age of 103, I published 8 volumes of "Xia Zhengnong Collection of Essays".
