The annual Shandong Vocational College Mathematics Competition was held on November 26. Under the situation of epidemic prevention and control, the organizers postponed the competition time many times, and finally determined that the participating students completed the competition through online invigilance.
After the participating schools select and determine the contestants, they participate in the finals and finals held in the province. More than 3,000 students from 61 schools participated in the finals. After fierce competition, 313 students from 59 schools participated in the finals. Dongying Vocational College is a team of 18 students. After active preparation for the exam and competition, 10 students won the first prize and 8 students won the second prize. Among them, Zhang Yongli won the first place in the province.
It is understood that this is the 13th such competition held in Shandong Province. It is one of the "14th Shandong College Students Science and Technology Festival" events jointly sponsored by the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Youth League Committee, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security. It aims to cultivate talents, serve teaching, promote the reform and construction of mathematics courses in higher education institutions, increase college students' interest in learning mathematics, cultivate the ability to analyze and solve problems, discover and select mathematical innovative talents, and provide young students with a stage to demonstrate basic knowledge and thinking ability.
