School Introduction
Tomsk State University is a world-famous public research university, formerly known as the Imperial University of Tomsk, Tsarist Russia. It was founded in 1878. The school is one of the four top Russian state universities .
The history of Tomsk State University can be traced back to 1803. It was later ordered to be established by Tsar Alexander II in 1878. Tomsk State University was established by the famous chemist Mendeleev and Nobel Prize winner Pavlov. , in the long history of running the school, a total of 6 professors including Henry Dunant, Joles Alferov and Harald Zur Hausen won the Nobel Prize, more than 100 graduates were awarded the title of academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and more than 100 Russian national prize winners.

Cultural, artistic activities
Students perform regularly at university and city concerts
The Musical Theater was established in 2017 and brings together students who wish to try their hand at choreography, vocal music and theater production. The trio
often gives concerts at the university. Due to its fluidity and highly creative activity, the team regularly participates in all pre-concerts held in the TSU Assembly Hall for participants of numerous conferences, councils, celebrations, festivals, as well as student lecture concerts.
Museum
On October 20, 2022, the school held a methodological seminar for museum employees, specifically analyzing the experience of the Zoological Museum in the field of cooperation with the academy in educational activities. Museum Director Vadim Vadimovich Yetsev addressed his colleagues.

Tomsk State University plays an important role in Sino-Russian higher education cooperation and maintains close exchanges with Chinese universities, including: University of Hong Kong , Nanjing University , Sun Yat-sen University , University of Science and Technology of China , Dalian University of Technology , North China University of Technology , Shenyang University of Technology , etc.
In November 2019, Huawei (China) established the scholarship at Tomsk State University and identified multiple areas of cooperation.
In July 2020, Tudor University and Tsinghua University launched a summer camp cooperation, and the students were funded by Huawei.
