Xi'an Foreign Studies University Translation and Intercultural Research Institute was established in December 2020. It is one of the five school-level comprehensive scientific research platforms established by the school, including 1 provincial research base, 1 department-level research base, 2 co-constructed research institutions and 7 school-level scientific research institutions. The institute focuses on multilingual translation and cross-cultural research, based on the major needs of the country and Shaanxi, and is guided by the needs of discipline construction and economic and social development. It condenses research directions, gathers research talents, establishes a flexible, open and efficient management system and operating mechanism, and is committed to building a new era research team with Chinese sentiment, international vision, strong research capabilities, and familiar with the laws of international cultural communication.
