October is the "Literary and Art Star" theme month for Wuxi Houzhai Central Primary School every year. After the first "Meet the Beauty Carnival" event last year, teachers and students look forward to meeting art again. On October 19, 2022, Houzhai Central Primary School launched a "Meet Love Carnival" charity sale activity, integrating literary and artistic works and talent performances into it.
It is understood that in the first "Meet Beauty Carnival" event in 2021, teachers and students showed the style of the October "Literary and Art Star" theme moon with instrumental music, singing and dancing, calligraphy and painting, paper art and language performances, and received praise.

In this year's "Meet Love Carnival" charity sale, the Young Pioneers raised donations for the paired ethnic minority school - Heer Primary School in Linchuan Township, Qinghai, and donated their love by donating idle artistic ornaments at home, calligraphy and paintings drawn by themselves, handicrafts produced, and rehearsed talent performances.
It is understood that this year's "Meet Love Carnival" love charity sale has rich items, talent combination, and various forms. More than 20 programs have been selected for the charity performance list, and school-level clubs such as Ocarina Club, dance club, and choir also participated in the charity performance activities. In addition to the charity sale area, each grade is also divided into interactive experience areas such as sunny "sand" beach, magic circle of love, and "the most dazzling ethnic style" ethnic clothing experience hall to "create love" in the interactive experience. "Meet Love Carnival" allows children to understand that charity sale can not only sell idle items, but also convey love and true love through more diverse forms and rich activities.
In recent years, Houzhai Central Primary School has enriched campus culture, effectively implemented the "2+1+1" physical art, and offered art education courses. The school has designated October as the theme month of "Literary and Art Stars", and has set up practical courses such as "Find Beauty - Wudi Study Tour Classroom" and "Meet Beauty - Talent Display Big Stage", and has carried out Wu Culture Study Tour and Art Carnival activities, allowing students to "be talented, versatile, and learn more".
The school uses the surrounding natural resources such as Bodu River , Hongshan, Lianghong Wetland Park, Dangkou Ancient Town , and Wangyu River to carry out "Wu Culture Study Tour", and formulated the themes and study tour routes of "Wu Culture Study Tour" for first- and sixth grade students, such as "rural revitalization", "ancient street search", "mother river inspection", "ancient bridge exploration", "wetland expansion", and "cultural root search".
First-grade students walk in the rice fields and vineyards in Hongshan in autumn to appreciate the new look of rural revitalization; second-grade students walk into Dangkou Ancient Town to feel the characteristics of the Jiangnan water town of "small bridges and flowing water houses"; third-grade students walk on the banks of Wangyu River and Bodu River to feel the "water culture" in the south of the Yangtze River; fourth-grade students explore the stone bridges on the Dafang Bridge and the Bodu River to feel the culture of Hongshan Bridge; fifth-grade students cultivate team spirit in the expansion of Lianghong Wetland Park; sixth-grade students visit the remains of the "Eighteen Scenery of Hongshan" and understand the "mountain culture" of their hometown. These allow children to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Wu while walking, feel the humanities of Wu, show their talents in diverse artistic creations, and bloom with their own wonderfulness.
"Meet Beauty·Carnival" and "Meet Love·Carnival" special events have become the stage for children's talent display. During the event exhibition, each student who visited was both an audience and a judge. They rewarded the little red flowers they made to the students who performed and awarded the "Best Popularity Award" to inspire children to grow into "raising the right teenagers" who are good at practice and brave in innovation.
