In order to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Qingyang District Special Education School and promote the spirit of volunteer service for party members, the Party Member Volunteer Service Team of the School of Literature once again promoted pairing and assistance activities with Qingyang District Special Education School. On the morning of October 29, accompanied by the continuous autumn rain, a group of 11 teachers and students from the Party Member Volunteer Service Team came to the Qingyang District Special Education School in Chengdu to carry out the first weekend community open and integrated volunteer service activity this semester. Before the event, Bian Rong, principal of the Special Education School in Qingyang District, Chengdu, and Yang Baixue, head of the School Volunteer Alliance, conducted integration partner training for the volunteers, introducing the special Olympic Games, the basic situation of the school and students, activity process and precautions, etc. Principal Bian Rong specifically mentioned that their vision is to achieve an inclusive world that everyone enjoys through the power of sports, so that people with intellectual disabilities can live a positive, healthy and fulfilling life. Amid the laughter and joy, Special Olympic Sports related courses also unfolded. With the patient company and guidance of volunteers, the children were eager to try, confidently and excellently completed all tasks. After the event, the volunteers said goodbye to the children and returned to the conference room to exchange experience . Everyone spoke enthusiastically, shared their stories, raised their confusions, and exchanged their experiences.
