Last issue we shared the preparations and achievements made by Zhang in China before going to visit Japan. "Five months in Japan, I was admitted to Waseda University ! 》This issue will continue to show you how he prepared for the exam after going to Japan in just five months!
Ohara: How did you prepare for the exam after you arrived in Japan?
After going to Japan, I attend language school courses every morning and private school courses every Tuesday, Wednesday night and weekend. While learning new knowledge in a private school, I can use the real test questions at home every afternoon and consolidate my memory of the comprehensive literature.
Ohara: What do you think the preparations made in China will help you throughout your entire Japanese study?
The study of Ohara has laid a solid foundation for my Japanese language ability. More than a year of Japanese learning has made my level improve by leaps and bounds, writing, speaking, listening, and reading.
When you go to the language school, you will be assigned to the highest class directly through the exam to avoid wasting time by learning some useless content. He was also recommended to the top scorer class when studying in a private school, and his learning progress was relatively leading. A solid foundation in Japanese makes my study efficient.
Dada: Can you tell me in detail about the mental journey of studying?
Initially, Waseda University, a top private university in Japan, was an unattainable existence for me. The teacher also told us that it is not easy to get into the early entrance exam. But I often hear that morning college is a place full of possibilities. Sometimes even if my EJU scores are not top-notch, I can still be regarded by professors for their outstanding performance in the school exam and interview. This made me feel awe and hopeful about this school.
In the January EJU exam of 6html, I performed poorly due to physical reasons and got Japanese scores that were far below my level. The hard preparations turned into vain, which made me fall into despair. If you don’t get into a good university in the early stage because of this, you can only prepare for the EJU of 11html January and the later university. But this failure made me feel a little unable to hold on. I don’t want to stretch the front line anymore and compete with the later “ God of Immortals ” . At this time, I placed all my hopes on the EJU, who had relatively diverse requirements.
So I started to prepare for the early age with the determination to go all out and fight with my back. But it is not enough to just rely on myself, and there are fewer relevant courses in private schools, so I found Mr. Chen from Ohara to tutor my morning college entrance examination and interview in China through online courses. As a teacher who has rich experience and has cultivated countless students from famous Japanese schools, Teacher Chen spared no effort to guide me to practice writing short papers and making interview drafts, which brought me great help. I am also very grateful to her here.
In the interview, I performed extremely well and expressed the prepared content clearly to the professor with confidence, and also received praise from the professor (original words: Lipaiね). In the end, I did not disappoint the expectations of my family and teachers. I successfully passed the morning college.

Ohara: What is the tuition and living expenses for one year in Japan? ?
One year tuition for Waseda University is about 130-160,000 yen, each school is different. The living expenses for rent are about 10,000 yuan per month. But after going to college, everyone will work, which can basically offset the rent.
Dayuan: How is your study and life in college? Are you still used to eating and living?
is very accustomed to it. Japanese life is full of humanistic care and the food is more suitable for your appetite.
Dahara: Dahara has any comments or suggestions for the younger generations who want to study in Japan?
The most important thing when studying abroad is to have self-control. No one will urge learning like a high school teacher. Everything is done consciously, so students must restrain themselves well to avoid excessive relaxation and delaying their studies when they go abroad.
I was actually a very unconscious person before, but in order to achieve my goal, I forced myself to study with my will and finally got into my ideal school. I also wish everyone can achieve success in learning and get what they want.
Editor's note: Study abroad is not always smooth sailing, and it is even more difficult to hit prestigious schools. When you encounter any learning difficulties on the way to pursue your dreams, please come to us for a chat. Ohara will always be a solid backing for everyone. I hope everyone can keep their original aspirations in mind and forge ahead!
