3.1hope verb, hope, expect (something happens). The usage is as follows:
① From the tone of speaking: hope is used to indicate what is possible. When following the clause, use the tone of statements. For example:
I hope I shall see him again. I hope to see him again.

② In terms of meaning: hope is mostly used to refer to hope and expectation for good things; expectation for bad things is mostly used "I'm afraid...". For example:

③From the sentence pattern: hope can use hope to do sth sentence pattern, but not hope sb to do sth sentence pattern. For example:

⑤hope is generally not used in progress.

7.1It doesn’t matter basic meaning "it doesn’t matter, whatever". There are four uses:
①Answer to the apology expressed by others, which contains the meaning of "comfort", which means "it doesn’t matter, nothing, it doesn’t matter". Similar to that’s ok; you are welcome, that’s nothing, not at all, but cannot be used to answer thank you and other words. Example:
It does not matter this time.Come to school earlier next time.
