The members of the practice group mixed the paints, spread out the blank paper, and drew pictures on the head, tail, and left and right wings of the kite. Malek drew a wing composed of grass green, black, goose yellow, and water red. The other wing was painted by a member of the practice group with a simple and fresh Chinese ink painting style, with green pines and bamboos, distant mountains like black daisy, and clear springs and rocks flowing down. At the end is a lotus and lotus leaves hand-painted by another member. The pale pink and bright yellow stamens match the bright petals, and the structure is symmetrical. On the head are the simple four letters "ZSTU" - Zhenjiang Scien-tec University, which is the finishing touch.

While several members were making kites, another member of the practice group contacted the person in charge of the venue, Mr. Cheng Dishen, the "Kite Master" of Yuhang, and interviewed him about many questions about kites .
