1. Application qualifications and degree status
According to the "Implementation Measures for the Points-based Enrollment System for Children of Migrant Persons to Guangzhou in Tianhe District, Guangzhou" (Guangzhou Tianfu Office Children of immigrants coming to Guangzhou who have declared points according to Regulation [2022] No. 1 and have no objections after being announced by the District Personnel Service Administration Bureau can fill in the application form and apply for a degree in a public school or a government-subsidized private school.
In 2022, the total number of points-based enrollment plans for the children of immigrants from Tianhe District to Guangzhou is 2232 (1274 for primary schools and 958 for junior high schools) . Please see the attachment for details.
For the first grade of primary school, there are 1,274 point-based enrollment plans, including 638 public primary schools and 636 private primary schools.
For the first grade of junior high school, there are 958 points-based admission plans, including 480 public middle schools and 478 private middle schools.
The point enrollment plan for private schools has been clarified, and the total number of plans in the district will be controlled based on the point enrollment plan of each school. The total number of private elementary schools planned in the district is 636, and the total number of private junior high schools planned in the district is 478.
2. Application method and process

Click on the "Tianhe District" module to enter the Tianhe District Points System Admission System, combined with the school enrollment plan, Please fill in your application form based on your ranking and private school fees.
Applicants should fill in at least 1 public school choice and 1 private school choice, and fill in a maximum of 25 choices. Among them, there are a maximum of 20 applications for public schools and a maximum of 5 applications for private schools.
When filling in the private school application form, the applicant must first call the private school to inquire about the tuition and miscellaneous fees charging standards (based on the latest charging standards approved by the Price Bureau), and fill in the application rationally based on their own actual conditions to avoid unaffordable tuition fees; for some schools with similar names For private schools, applicants need to confirm the school address and other specific information by themselves to avoid filling in errors. It is recommended that parents whose primary schools are ranked after 638th and junior high schools who are ranked after 480th should reasonably choose to fill in the public school choices and the private school choices are required to avoid being unable to be admitted.
After the enrollment plan is completed, for students who cannot be admitted according to the enrollment plan, the first private school they filled in will be used as the student's supplementary choice. It is recommended that parents who are ranked after 1274th in primary school and 958th in junior high school carefully fill in the private school application. Volunteer and strive for the qualification to be a supplementary student in a private school.
At 15:00 on July 5, the points admission system will automatically close and the application will be sealed. Those who do not fill in the application form will be deemed to have given up their place in Tianhe District. The District Education Bureau will no longer arrange a place, and parents need to contact the school themselves. If you encounter technical problems when filling in the

(2) Admissions
The Tianhe District Education Bureau follows the principle of "points first, following volunteers" to determine the academic degrees for the children of those who come to Guangzhou. The
point-based admission system searches in order from high to low based on the applicant's point ranking. First, look at the first choice, and search for admissions in order from the first to the 25th choice filled in by the first place; wait for the first place to be assigned a degree After that, the second place will be admitted, and the admission will be searched in order from the 1st to the 25th choice filled in by the second place; and so on, until each school completes the points admission enrollment plan.
At the same time, after the private school point-based admissions enrollment plan is completed, fill-in students will be set up based on the applicants' application status.
(3) Announcement of results and confirmation of degrees
Before July 8, the Tianhe District Education Bureau announced the admission status through the points admission system and the "Tianhe District Portal".
On July 9th, points-based admission students will register at the admitted school.Those who are not registered will be deemed to have given up their admission qualifications and points-based admission, and the district education bureau will not reschedule the place. If a private school admits a student who gives up his or her degree, the school's replacement students will be replaced according to the principle of "give up one and replace one".
3. Funding subsidy
For children of immigrants who come to Guangzhou who are admitted and registered through the point-based admission system and study in private schools in Tianhe District, the district finance is based on 5,000 yuan per student per academic year for primary schools (2,500 yuan per student per semester), and 5,000 yuan per student per semester for junior high schools. A degree subsidy is provided at a standard of 6,000 yuan per student per academic year (3,000 yuan per student per semester). The degree subsidy funds are distributed to the private schools where the students attend after the start of each semester. The private schools will promptly distribute the degree subsidies to the students or directly use them to offset the costs. Reduce the tuition and fees payable by students.
4. Other requirements
(1) Children of immigrants who have not participated in the point-based admission application, do not meet the points-based admission application requirements, or have participated in the point-based admission application but have not obtained a degree, can choose to register at a qualified private school on their own.
(2) If a private school that implements government subsidies is closed, students who originally attended the private school under the points system and transferred to other private schools in Tianhe District will still enjoy the government degree subsidy.
