BYD HanDM ranked second, with sales of up to 18,000 units in September, setting a record sales of a single month. BYD Han EV, BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A4L and Audi A6L also broke through the 10,000 vehicles mark. BYD Han EV ranked fourth and also set a new monthly sales high. BMW 5 Series ranked fifth, down about 15% month-on-month in August. The sales of Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Audi A4L were both above 11,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase compared with the same period last year. Audi A6L ranked eighth, with sales of only 10,400 units in September, but it still doubled compared with the same period last year. Mercedes-Benz C-Class and ZEEKR 001 also entered the top ten, while Mercedes-Benz C-Class failed to exceed 10,000, while ZEEKR 001 hit a new high.
Finally, Cadillac CT5 performed well, with sales exceeding the 7,000 units mark in September. NIO ET7, Volvo S90, Hongqi H9 and Lincoln Z also ranked in the top 15, but their sales in September were less than 3,000 units. The sales of Mercedes-Benz E-Class PHEV, Volvo S60, BMW 5 Series PHEV and Jaguar XFL in September were more than 1,000 vehicles, but well-known models such as Jaguar XEL, Cadillac CT6, Volkswagen Phoenix , Audi A7L, Mercedes-Benz A-Class AMG and Volvo S90 RECHARGE were only a few hundred vehicles in September.
