" Diamond Sutra " only uses twenty words to tell how we are troubled by emotions and the essence of being troubled by emotions, and teach us how to see through emotions and get happiness. When I read the Diamond Sutra, what shocked me the most was this sentence: "All conditioned dharmas are like dreams, illusions, bubbles, shadows; like dew and lightning, you should observe them in this way."

The Diamond Sutra tells in just twenty words how we are troubled by emotions and the essence of emotions, and teaches us how to see through emotions and gain happiness. When I read the Diamond Sutra, what shocked me the most was this sentence:

Maybe the Diamond Sutra guides us to understand what is [real and absolute].

is just like Subhuti The beginning of the question asked Buddha "How should we stay? How can we subdue our hearts?" It seems that Subhuti understands us modern people very well and has also raised this fundamental question for us.

means how should thoughts and emotions be viewed? I don’t know how many worries everyone has every day, how can I calm down this heart and find happiness. In fact, the Buddha has given the most direct answer - to stay in this way and subdue his mind in this way.

Some people may have questions, and it seems that there is no direct answer, and it is a bit unanswered. So, the Buddha continued this topic and said this passage at the end of the Diamond Sutra. Let’s take a look together.

The Diamond Sutra tells in just twenty words how we are troubled by emotions and the essence of emotions, and teaches us how to see through emotions and gain happiness. When I read the Diamond Sutra, what shocked me the most was this sentence: . All the conditioned methods

refers to everything - what we see, what we hear, what our ears hear, what our nose smells, what our tongue tastes, what our body touches and feels, even what our brain thinks, analyzes, what we judge, all of them belong to conditioned methods .

In layman's terms, everything that the brain binary opposition thinking logic feels belongs to the conditioned law. Including all our thoughts, emotions, and feelings.

Why does this fall into the category of proactive? It is because when we feel all this, we must have a subject, plus an object, and plus a "movement".

The Diamond Sutra tells in just twenty words how we are troubled by emotions and the essence of emotions, and teaches us how to see through emotions and gain happiness. When I read the Diamond Sutra, what shocked me the most was this sentence:

The subject is "I" (so who am I? We need to study it carefully), the object is others, this time and space, this universe, and finally the "movement" of thoughts is added.

judges what the current person, thing, and thing is [what]. This [what is] manifested based on our habits since time immemorial. This can explain the reasons why some people are angry, some are afraid, some are regretful, and some are not feeling much.

is the standardization of various judgments of "I" - all people, things, and even this time and space. This is why we are troubled by emotions.

The Diamond Sutra tells in just twenty words how we are troubled by emotions and the essence of emotions, and teaches us how to see through emotions and gain happiness. When I read the Diamond Sutra, what shocked me the most was this sentence: . Like a dream, a bubble, a shadow, a dew, and a lightning

Buddha compared all our binary opposition consciousness categories to dreams, illusions, bubbles, shadows, dews, and electricity.

We know that these phenomena are instantaneous, short-lived, and even fictional, coming and going, going and coming.

The Diamond Sutra tells in just twenty words how we are troubled by emotions and the essence of emotions, and teaches us how to see through emotions and gain happiness. When I read the Diamond Sutra, what shocked me the most was this sentence:

We will understand carefully: all the thoughts in our minds are instantaneous and fragmented. The reason why they feel coherent is that the thoughts appear continuously in one moment and the next moment, flowing constantly like a waterfall.

is also like a hotel. Passerby A comes, Passerby B comes, Passerby A leaves, Passerby C comes again. But the real empty house did not move. But all our attention is focused on [passerby], and the empty houses that are more effective are ignored.

The Diamond Sutra tells in just twenty words how we are troubled by emotions and the essence of emotions, and teaches us how to see through emotions and gain happiness. When I read the Diamond Sutra, what shocked me the most was this sentence:

Now we have completely seen through this illusion, and we have also seen through the essence of emotions and thoughts.

Next, we will discuss "me" (ego). Everyone will play a different role in society. They are a father at home, an employee at the unit, an athlete on the field, and a son at their parents.

is good, so let’s think about it, among so many characters, which one is the real and real you? Maybe you would say that of course family is the most important thing, I am a father. Then ask again - do you think the father you think is still there when you are working?

The Diamond Sutra tells in just twenty words how we are troubled by emotions and the essence of emotions, and teaches us how to see through emotions and gain happiness. When I read the Diamond Sutra, what shocked me the most was this sentence:

We gradually realize that "I" is just a combination of various habits, emotions, and thoughts. Subdivided further: the angry me, the anxious me, the happy me, the excited me, the fear me, the sad me...

This "I" is a great integration of all habit bodies, emotional bodies, bodies, and thought bodies. Only then do we firmly believe that "I" is the most reliable one.

From the perspective of natural science, all these "I" think that solid bodies are nothing more than the imaging of visual signals, auditory signals, and tactile signals in the brain. The essence is the brain's response to these signals. The signal itself does not have the essence of good or bad, right or wrong, right or wrong.

The Diamond Sutra tells in just twenty words how we are troubled by emotions and the essence of emotions, and teaches us how to see through emotions and gain happiness. When I read the Diamond Sutra, what shocked me the most was this sentence:

is the meaning or values we give to everyone, everything, the world, and the universe through the binary opposing brain.

Describes "me" and various "body" of "me" using dreams, fantasy, bubbles, shadows, dews, and electricity. It is not only appropriate to guide us to see through the illusion of these phenomena and return to reality.

3. You should do this as a view

"You should do this as a view", which echoes the beginning of the article "If you should stay, you will subdue your mind in this way." We can call it a way to return to happiness, tranquility, truth or practice. Some books introduce this sentence to "treat thoughts and emotions according to the characteristics of dreams, illusions, bubbles, shadows and dews described above." Obviously there is no further extension.

From my personal experience, this sentence is the top priority. Now that we have known that the characteristics of all bodies are temporary, impermanent, and relative. So is there still the importance of [absolute]?

Further, all these bodies will naturally leave when they come, and they cannot be kept. No thought or emotion can stay in the heart for 24 hours and never become every minute or second.

But there is one thing that needs to be reminded, and it is also my experience over the years: there is no need to resist the fierce thoughts and emotions, and resistance has no effect, and it will even strengthen the [torque] of emotional thoughts.

The Diamond Sutra tells in just twenty words how we are troubled by emotions and the essence of emotions, and teaches us how to see through emotions and gain happiness. When I read the Diamond Sutra, what shocked me the most was this sentence:

All we can do is "let emotions come and let emotions go". Think about the empty houses in front just [know] and [look at] them, they are [permitted].

The essence of emotions and thoughts is actually just a stream of energy, which is expressed through our bodies, allowing this stream of energy to pass through our bodies, and we do not pursue and intercept it.

is like a reservoir flood discharge. It is impossible for us to use one hand to withstand thousands of tons of floods. So, let it flow through! This is also what the Buddha wants to tell us in the end - " is the view of ".
