square inch of Buddha Source and Buddha Restoration (Picture and Text Version 07): Reappearing the Baota Mountain in Yan'an (I)
Introduction: Panoramic display of Buddhist historical and cultural elements on postal products since China started its postal business in 1878
As mentioned earlier, in 1946, the "Baota Mountain Map Stamp" in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region became the beginning of Yan'an's Baota Mountain as the theme of stamps for a long time and continuous. But from the actual situation, when Baotashan appeared again, it was 15 years later. Although multiple sets of stamps in the past 15 years involved Yan'an , there was no trace of the pagoda. For example, the pattern used in the "30th Anniversary of the Communist Party of China" in 1951 was avatar; regarding the Yan'an period, the pattern used in the "15th Anniversary of the War of Resistance Against Japan" in 1952 was the pattern used in the leader's plan to counterattack in the cave, and the 20th Anniversary of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army's Victory Completed the 25,000 Mile Long March" was the pattern used in the "30th Anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army" was the crossing of the Eighth Route Army.
On July 1, 1961, Yan'an Baota Mountain reappeared in Fangcun.

The revolutionary holy land series on the stamp has been basically established since then.
undoubtedly, the revolutionary holy land series can produce a strong inspirational force. After "three years of difficult period" (also known as "three years of natural disasters"), such inspiration is indeed needed.
At the same time, it echoes this set of commemorative stamps:
Public 11 Revolutionary Holy Land Pattern Ordinary Stamp (first edition)
1961.7.20
The picture is from top to bottom, and is the Nanchang "August 1" building, Ruijin Shazhouba, Yan'an Baota Mountain, and Tiananmen .
Less than half a year later, this set of ordinary stamps has a second edition:
Public 12 Revolutionary Holy Map General Stamp (Second Edition)
1962.1.10/1970.7.1
The first 8 were issued in January 1962, and the last 6 were late as July 1, 1970.
At that time, the same city's public letter postage was 4 cents, and the other places' public letter 4 cents. In comparison, most cities were not big at that time, and there were no cars to be stuck. Moreover, 4 cents could sell 3 taels of salt, 4/5 bottles of soda or 1 popsicle. In the era of shortage, there were few civil servants in the same city. Therefore, the 8-minute Yan'an Baota Mountain stamp became the most popular and most common postage voucher, and the image of Yan'an Baota Mountain has become the hearts of the people.
