only looks at yourself, not others
1. The Buddha preached for forty-nine years and said many scriptures. Who did he tell me? He said it to me. No one else? No one else has anything to do. Only when you truly realize this can you enter Buddhism and you can gain the true benefit of Buddhism.
2. How many people study Buddhism, they focus on others and do not look back at themselves. The good guy teaches people to turn back and look back to look at themselves and not others. Huineng Master said it well in the "Platform Sutra", "If a true practitioner does not see the faults of the world", it is too late to take care of yourself. As the saying goes, you can't take care of yourself, how can you have time to care about other people's affairs?
3. If you observe the great masters carefully, you will read and ponder deeply in their biography and quotations, how did they achieve success? To be honest, it is to do whatever others have achieved. If you keep in charge of other people's affairs all day long, this person will decide that he has not achieved success. Why? His heart is in chaos, not fixed.
4. The wisdom that arises in the chaotic mind is evil knowledge and evil views, evil wisdom, not true wisdom, true wisdom must have concentration. Evil wisdom and righteous wisdom are difficult for ordinary people in the world to distinguish. The origin of it is different. One is revealed by the pure mind, and the other is derived from greed, anger and ignorance. It is different!
Don’t think about yourself. This thought is mindfulness
1. The ancients often say, “I am not afraid of thoughts, but I am afraid of being late.” When thoughts arise, you are an ordinary person. How can an ordinary person not have any thoughts? If thoughts do not arise, you are a saint, you are not an ordinary person.
2. Ordinary people always have false thoughts, so the first thing to do is to reduce false thoughts, and secondly, you must know how to correct false thoughts into mindfulness. Ordinary people always think of their own interests and their own benefits when they have thoughts. This is a false thought. We must correct it and cultivate it into mindfulness.
3. What is Mindfulness ? When you have thoughts and thoughts about the benefits of sentient beings and the benefits of sentient beings, and don’t think about yourself. This thought is mindfulness.
4. What the scriptures say, what Buddhas and Bodhisattvas say is to benefit all living beings, and no thought is to benefit oneself. The Mahayana Sutra says that oneself also talks about sentient beings. Why? Self and others are not two, one is one, and sentient beings are one with Buddha.
I suffered a loss in front of me, and my blessings were endless
1. The ancients often said that "the key to entering the Tao is to be the first, and the mind is the first", so it is very important to develop the Bodhicitta. We must be sincere. We live in this world, and we must be sincere in dealing with things and dealing with people, and we must not be hypocritical.
2. Others deceive us and frame us, let them go and don’t take it to heart. .
3. The ancients often taught us that "suffering losses is a blessing", and this is a good word! We suffer losses in front of us, and there will be endless blessings in the future. Later blessings are to attain enlightenment, and you can be reborn in the Western Paradise in this life. How much benefit will this be?
4. If you are afraid of losing or being deceived, you are afraid that others will take advantage of you, but you will suffer a great loss. There is no difference between the Western Paradise! Little do you know that I am willing to suffer a loss in this place, and I am not afraid that people will lie to me, so we will take a great advantage. What we get is the real blessing - all Buddhas come to welcome me.
would rather suffer losses than take advantage of others
1. What I often say is " environment to as you like". So as long as you "have good intentions, say good words, do good deeds, and be a good person", and keep these four sentences, your life will be very happy and perfect. Even if there are many disasters, you will not encounter them.
2. We must be kind, say good things, do good things, and be good people. By accumulating good deeds and cultivating virtues, our consequences will be extraordinary, and both the main and dependent retributions will be extraordinary.
3. We cultivate blessings throughout our lives and hope to cultivate one’s mind is not confused when we die, then you will decide to be reborn. Why? If your mind is not confused at the time of death, you can be reborn with ten thoughts. What I fear most is that I am upside down when I die. Even my family members do not recognize me. I am so ill that I can’t listen to the Buddha’s name. I even hate and reject the Buddha’s name when I hear the Buddha’s name. That thing is so troublesome!
4. We have seen a lot of this. I am usually a person who is very diligent in chanting Buddha’s name. When I die, I advise him to chant Buddha’s name and he loses his temper. He hates him and wants to drive people away. This is a terrible obstacle to death. Therefore, throughout our lives, we must have good intentions and do good deeds. We would rather suffer losses than take advantage of others. What should we ask for? We should not be confused when we die.
Everyone is fighting for it, you have to put it down
1. The ancients often said, "It is a blessing to suffer losses" and "It is rare to be confused". These words are very philosophical in it - it seems confused, but in fact he is not confused; on the surface he suffers losses, but in fact he really takes advantage of it. Mortals can only see it in front of them. Smart people have their eyes. They can see decades later and see the next life.
2. If you suffer a loss in front of you, you will get great blessings in the future; if you refuse to suffer a loss in front of you, you will not get great blessings in the future. What is this great blessing? Everyone yearns for life and death and leaving the three realms, but they have not followed this path.
3. What are people in the world fighting for here every day today? Fame, fortune, and enjoyment of the five desires and six dusts. Everyone thinks this is normal. If you have a look at the past and future, you will know that people are leaving today.
4. Everyone is competing for it, everyone thinks it is correct. If you want to let it go, it seems that you have suffered a loss in front of you. If you look further away, you will take advantage of it. It turns out that you have been reborn in the Pure Land by chanting the Buddha's name - this is extremely special, and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas all praise it.
