There was a butcher in the city who found that he couldn't sell his meat. He was very angry. He took the knife and went to the monk to settle accounts. The monk saw the butcher and pointed to the west.

A scene in the Western Heaven realm appeared in the sky. The butcher was enlightened, put down his butcher knife, climbed up a tree to chant sutras, fell down and died. The monks saw the butcher's soul leaving his body and being carried away by Buddha.

This is a story about cheating ghosts, a thing that uses Buddhist sticks to deceive people. However, this story is a Buddhist stick deception with the purpose of fooling people, but this story is consistent with the Zen view of enlightenment.

The Buddhist "Heart Sutra" and "Diamond Sutra" both talk about one thing, which is emptiness. Form, feeling, thought, action, and consciousness are all empty, so is the Dharma, and everything is impermanent. So where does the debt come from?
