The resident master of Dajue Zen Temple in Yunmen Mountain washes his hands and burns incense, chants sutras and praises, and holds sutra interpretation activities.

At 9 a.m., the monks and laymen of Shengquan Temple in Gushan, Fuzhou respectfully dusted off the Tripitaka and other classics, turned them over carefully, and dried them in the sun, allowing the classics to bathe in the sun and prevent mold. Changes and moth-eatenness are also the means to cleanse one’s mind from the dirt.

At 7 o'clock in the morning that day, all the masters of the Fengxian Ten Thousand Buddhas Pavilion in Shanghai chanted sutras and prayed for blessings in the Sutra Pavilion, read the sutras, and encouraged the monks to inherit the tradition, go deep into the Tripitaka, and obtain the wisdom of Prajna.
