Maharaja

Maharaja - Esoteric Buddhism One of the eight great luminaries

Maharaja, Sanskrit name Mahā-cakra. Also known as Maharaja. It is the wrathful body of Maitreya Bodhisattva , which is the Ming King who eliminates all karmic obstacles, transcends the Dharma, and takes the pure and perfect precepts as his original oath. He is one of the eight great kings of Tantric Buddhism. According to the "Great Wonderful Diamond Sutra", its image is yellow all over the body, with a large fire, holding an eight-spoke diamond wheel in its right hand, and a single vajra pestle in its left hand. The seed is (hūj), and the samaya is in the shape of a wheel. Sit on the lotus throne. Its mantra is: Om (oj) Vajra (Vajra), Cakra (wheel) and Hūj (seed). What is the origin of Maharaja Maharaja

Maharaja Maharaja is not only famous in Buddhism, but also by many people in Hinduism Therefore, more and more people are now practicing Maharin Myoyo. For those who are not familiar with it and don’t know about Maharin Myoyo, let me introduce the origin of Maharin Myoyo to my brothers.

Maharaja should be Maharaja, which is the wrathful appearance of Vajrapani . He holds a diamond wheel in one hand and a vajra in the other, symbolizing the unbreakable bodhicitta. He is the most important Bodhisattva under the Tantric Great Sun Tathagata one.

Tantra believes that he is a representative of power and one of the three deities of Tantra. Practicing his way can eliminate karmic obstacles and become a Buddha.

The so-called five great deities in Tantric Buddhism are the five great Vajras of the Supreme Yoga Department and the Gelug Sect , including the Chakravarti, the Gathering Vajra, the Yamantaka (the incarnation of Manjusri ), and the Chakrasamvara ( The collective incarnation of all the Buddhas of the three times) and the auspicious Hevajra.

But there are also and , which are different. In the Nyingma sect there are eight Vajra teachings.

If we insist on taking the five deities, Kalachakra is an incarnation of Vajrapani Bodhisattva (however, Vajrapani Bodhisattva itself is the wrathful phase of Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva ).

Ming Wang is a Buddhist term, Ming means the light of wisdom, and Wang is the honorific title for a person who can control all things and phenomena in the world. In Buddhist Tantric Buddhism, all Buddhas have three rounds of bodies, namely, the wheel of self-nature, the wheel of Dharma, and the wheel of teachings. Wheel means to destroy, and wheel body means the power to destroy the troubles of all living beings. Among them, the meaning of the teaching wheel body is that the Buddhas show their mighty and wrathful appearance and destroy the demonic obstacles, and the king of enlightenment is the teaching wheel body. So in layman's terms, King Ming means to use the light of Buddha's wisdom to destroy the troubles and karma of all living beings.

Speaking of Mingwang, we have probably heard of Peacock Mingwang , Fudo Mingwang , Vajra Yaksha Mingwang, Great Powerful Mingwang and so on. As the saying goes, Buddha has thousands of appearances, including the angry eyes of Vajra and the low eyebrows of Bodhisattvas. It can be understood that King Ming is the wrathful or terrifying Bodhisattva. He is mainly responsible for the task of defense, and at the same time, he has to attack and annihilate evil spirits.

So why is Jiumozhi called "King Maha Lun Ming"? Because Jiumozhi is the protector of the Tubo Kingdom. He has great wisdom and is proficient in Buddhism. It is said that every five years, he opens a forum to preach the Dharma in Tianzhu, the Western Regions. Eminent monks and virtuous men from all over the world came to listen to the lecture. Therefore, in the eyes of Western Regions eminent monks in Tianzhu, Jiumozhi is the incarnation of the Buddha. At the same time, Jiumozhi's martial arts are very powerful, which is consistent with the image of the wrathful or terrifying Bodhisattva. It is normal to be called the King of Ming. The so-called Dalun refers to the Dalun Temple in the Snowy Mountains, where Jiumozhi's roots lie.

The so-called "Da Lun Myo King" is the Ming King of Dalun Temple.

Jiumozhi came from Dalun Temple in Daxue Mountain, so he was named "Dalun". As for "King Ming", it's a bit more complicated.

Although Jiumozhi has always been modest about himself as a "little monk", the title "Darin Mingwang" has exposed him - he is actually very good.

King Ming is the Bodhisattva. However, in the impression of ordinary people, Bodhisattva should be kind-hearted and responsive to requests. He will definitely not be like Jiumozhi, who secretly learns martial arts and holds hostages all day long in order to become famous in the martial arts world. (Grab Duan Yu silently write "Six Meridians Divine Sword").

Speaking of "King Ming", we need to explain it carefully. The King of Ming is actually the angry aspect of the Bodhisattva.

Tantric Buddhism has "Horsa-headed King", also known as "Horse-headed Guanyin", which is an angry appearance of Guanyin Bodhisattva. In fact, Bodhisattva will appear according to circumstances, and it is not just a fixed image in the portrait. Therefore, whether he has kind eyebrows and kind eyes or angry eyes, they are just different images of Bodhisattva. However, in order to distinguish between "good-tempered Bodhisattvas" and "bad-tempered Bodhisattvas", later generations called those angry Bodhisattvas "Kings of Ming".

Jiumozhi lived in Tibet (Tubo). Later generations of Tibetan Buddhism regarded a considerable number of eminent monks as the incarnations of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. It can be seen that in Tibetan belief, just like the Han people, the Bodhisattva is highly respected.

Conclusion: Mahārānāmī is the incarnation of Maitreya Bodhisattva, who can eliminate all karmic obstacles of living beings. Da Lun Ming Wang means Zhuan Dharma Wheel Ming Wang. Dharma wheel is the true teaching of Buddhism. Da Lun Ming is painted wearing a crown with inverted flaming hair, holding a cobalt pestle in his left hand, and holding a large Dharma wheel high in his right hand.
