Shijiazhuang·Zanhuang·Baiyi Nunnery is located in Shizhu Mountain Scenic Area, Yuantou Town, Zanhuang County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, among the green cypresses on the northwest side of Shizhu Mountain.
Shijiazhuang·Zanhuang·Baiyi Nunnery was built during the reign of Zongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1628-1644 AD), and in the 22nd to 30th years of Daoguang (1843-1850 AD) and the tenth year of Guangxu (1884 AD) in the Ming Dynasty ) has been rebuilt three times.
Shijiazhuang·Zanhuang·Baiyi Temple covers an area of 2535 square meters and is a small monastery dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva. The mountain gate and the Temple of Heavenly Kings were built in Ming and Qing Dynasties. After the reform and opening up , the Daxiong Palace was rebuilt, and at the same time, the Guanyin Temple and the Dragon King Temple were added.
Shijiazhuang·Zanhuang·Baiyi Nunnery was listed as a county-level key cultural relics protection unit in 1988.
Shijiazhuang·Zanhuang·Baiyi Nunnery is surrounded by green cypresses, and the courtyard is fragrant with fragrant peaches and plums, steles and ancient trees towering into the sky. Persimmon trees, saponin, cloves, etc. have been included in the management of "ancient and famous trees" by the municipal garden department.
