As the words and sentences taught, we can understand its meaning and exhaust the profound and mysterious aspects. In the first year of Emperor Taizong of Song Dynasty (988 AD), people from the same county asked him to promote teachings at Taiping Xingguo Temple. At that time, hundreds of people followed him to learn. On the fifteenth day of each month and the end of the month, the public will definitely gather together to recite the Bodhisattva precepts. Youji generally persuaded monks and lay people to recite the Buddha's name and seek rebirth in the Pure Land throughout his life.
