I was 31 years old at that time. Three months after giving birth to my child, I went to work. Although my family took good care of me, at that time, I didn’t understand the physical and psychological changes of mothers, so I was slightly depressed and always very nervous.

Our employees here have signed agreements with the personnel dispatch unit in the past few years. The exam is divided into a written test and an interview. If you pass the exam, you can directly sign a formal employment agreement with the unit.
Sure enough, my attention was diverted after going to work. There was a distance between my home and my work. At that time, I went to work in the morning, went back to breastfeed at noon, went to work again in the afternoon, and came back in the evening. All by bus. A single journey takes about 40 minutes, and I have to go back and forth 4 times a day.
As you can imagine, I go back and forth so many times every day, which consumes a lot of time. For a 3-month-old mother, it also consumes a lot of physical energy. At the same time, the work of the unit must also be handled in a timely manner.
So I can only read and study after I get home at night. At that time, the child was more than 3 months old, which was when his sleep was not very stable. He would often fall asleep at around 7pm and wake up at 8pm.
And I also developed a bad habit. Only by relaxing the child can the child sleep. Therefore, the child has to be picked up from the bed several times a night, coaxed to sleep and then put down again before he can truly fall asleep.
So my preparation for the exam at night is also intermittent. Many times I don’t go to bed until around 12 o’clock in the morning.
The emotional state of postpartum women is more likely to affect their thinking and memory abilities, including their ability to solve problems, which are all declining.
But I didn’t think much about it at the time. I just concentrated on reading books whenever I had time. Whether it’s waiting for the bus or when my family is babysitting my kids.
Once I was reading a book in the living room while the child was sleeping in the bedroom. Suddenly a thump was heard, followed by a child's cry.
It turns out that I was so tired at the time that I forgot to put something next to my child to prevent him from rolling off the bed. He rolled on his own and fell off the bed. There is still a hole on his head now, which is the testimony of the bed rolling at that time.
So I moved my exam preparation location to be with my children. Worried that the light would affect his sleep, he bought a desk lamp.
So among the lights of thousands of houses, at dawn in the middle of the night, there will be such a flash of light. When the nursery rhymes are played and the baby is crying, such a touch of warmth will come.
The subsequent written test was comparable to the civil service examination. After the exam, I felt stupid and felt that the review was useless.
After all kinds of suffering, I got the fourth grade in the written test and passed the first level.
then prepared for the interview. I have practiced a draft dozens of times and am still nervous during the formal defense. Finally, he was admitted with the third overall score.
This is the story of my preparation for the exam, which is more serious and attentive than any other time I prepared for the exam when I was a student. Probably because becoming a mother gives me a sense of responsibility and mission.
