The protagonist of today's story is a little girl named Huihui. 8 years ago, Huihui came to this friendly and warm family like an angel, under the ardent expectations of many relatives such as her parents, grandparents, and many other relatives. Her arrival made the whole family immersed in the joy of happiness every day. Grandpa and grandma took good care of this newly joined family member and wanted to give her the best love in the world.
But this joy suddenly pressed the pause button when Huihui was 1 and a half years old... As Huihui grew up, her family gradually discovered Huihui's "different"; for example, other children of the same age can sit steadily alone, and some children can even walk with their things, but Huihui still can't sit steadily, and even with the help of her mother, she cannot complete this "growth task". The seeds of anxiety and worry slowly took root in the mother's heart... She quietly asked her family, neighbors and elders around her. Even when she saw other children of the same age, she couldn't help but ask, "Do your child sit? Can you crawl? Can you walk?"
After a period of psychological entanglement and self-doubt, Huihui's family finally realized the seriousness of the problem. Perhaps their babies are not just about the problem of backward sports development. At this moment, Huihui had a new situation: she cried endlessly, refused to eat, had no physical exercise, and her mental state was extremely poor. Jiahui's changes made the parents' originally tense hearts hang up again, so the whole family urgently took the children to the superior hospital for various examinations.
After a long week of waiting, Jiahui's examination results finally came out of "cerebral palsy". These four simple words pressed on this small family like a huge rock, making all the relatives who love Jiahui feel like they are bolt from the blue. Faced with this situation, the family members did not care about their inner grief and quickly took Huihui on the road of seeking medical treatment and recovering, and since then they became one of the thousands of recovered families...
In 2019, the local Disabled Persons' Federation noticed this special child when surveying all poor and disabled families. They enthusiastically informed Huihui's family of rehabilitation and relief policies and patiently approved the relevant procedures for them. They were referred to the local professional rehabilitation training institution: Deyi Sunshine Bazhong Disabled Rehabilitation Hospital (a municipal designated institution); and Huihui's family finally did not have to travel through mountains and rivers to go to other places for rehabilitation training. The rehabilitation institution at home made this family, which had become weak due to years of rehabilitation, once again full of hope...
Because of Huihui's parents' work, Huihui's grandmother took the initiative to take care of Huihui and take Huihui's rehabilitation. On the first day after entering the hospital, Huihui and her grandmother were warmly received by department staff and parents, which made her grandmother who had been away all year round feel the warmth of family. Subsequently, the department's treatment staff conducted a series of professional evaluations on Huihui and formulated detailed treatment plans and goals. A medical case analysis discussion meeting was held to address the current problems that Huihui had. Everyone expressed their opinions, actively offered suggestions, and shared their experiences only to provide more professional and effective treatment plans for the children! With the joint efforts and persistence of the department treatment staff and Huihui's family, the progress of Huihui's children has become increasingly obvious. From sitting to kneeling, from standing to walking with support, from 50CM to 1 meter, and then to 5 meters, 10 meters, 20 meters... Huihui's pace is becoming more and more stable, and Huihui's back in grandma's eyes is becoming more and more blurred. At this moment, grandma's eyes finally became wet. The hardship and efforts of so many years have finally been rewarded, and the girl who was trembling and unable to stand alone with her has finally grown up!
Hihui successfully entered the primary school in September 2022 for class attendance under the attention of all the treatment staff of the Bazhong Disabled Rehabilitation Hospital. Now she sits in the classroom she yearns for her longing and accepts the teacher's teachings with the children every day.
At this moment, it is the pride of the whole family and the pride of the sunshine!
