Nowadays, Xiaopeng Motors has built the world's first self-built vehicle production base in Zhaoqing . The first phase of the base invested more than 10 billion yuan, covering an area of 903.71 mu, carrying the mission of realizing Xiaopeng Motors' large-scale mass production.
This base has five workshops: stamping, welding, coating, assembly, and Pack. PDI product protection building, comprehensive R&D building, test runway and other supporting buildings and facilities are available, integrating autonomous driving R&D and demonstration, intelligent networking big data platform creation, automobile R&D, parts manufacturing, supply chain cooperation, vehicle production and trial production and testing. The industrial park has flexible production capacity of different platforms and can mass-produce three models, Xiaopeng P7, G3i and P5.
With the support of Zhaoqing Xiaopeng Intelligent Network Technology Industrial Park, Xiaopeng Motors has achieved a "acceleration" of development. On April 27, Xiaopeng Motors mass-produced P7 in Zhaoqing; in October 2020, the 10,000th Xiaopeng P7 was launched at the factory in Zhaoqing High-tech Zone, which took less than 160 days, setting a record for the fastest 10,000 vehicles of a single model of a new car-making force.
In 2021, Xiaopeng Motors won the annual sales championship of new car-making forces, becoming the first company in Zhaoqing to produce output value exceeding 20 billion yuan; of the 98,000 new energy vehicle sold throughout the year, 84,000 were produced in Zhaoqing. In the first half of this year, Xiaopeng Motors' cumulative delivery volume exceeded 200,000 vehicles.
