Mozilla continues to work on Firefox browser, making another small revision to the major version 106 released earlier this month. Firefox 106.0.2 is now available for download, given that this is a revision to the original 106 version, no new features are included.
One of the bugs solved by the update released this time is for Windows users, as it finds that in some cases it cannot be opened when installing a browser from the Microsoft store (which the company still calls it the Windows store).
Below is a complete list of fixes as part of Firefox 106.0.2:
fixes missing content on some PDF tables (bug 1794351).
Fixed the column width of the notification subpanel in settings (bug 1793558).
Fixed a problem that the browser was stuck when enabling accessibility features on certain websites (such as Proxmox Web UI) (bug 1793748).
fixes the issue of page overloading incompatible with Firefox View and does not refresh synchronous data (bug 1792680 and bug 1794474).
Fixed the issue if the browser installed from the Windows Store cannot be opened (Bug 1796391).
All improvements belonging to Firefox 106 are also included in this new version. For example, Firefox 106 supports pinning private browsing windows to the taskbar, which is something that Mozilla users have been asking for for a long time.
