Chongqing Artificial Intelligence Innovation Center is a model project of the Chengdu-Chongqing hub node of the "Eastern Digital and Western Calculation" national integrated big data center. Chongqing Artificial Intelligence Innovation Center covers an area of about 9 acres, with a construction area of about 5,000 square meters. It consists of a computing power platform, a software platform and supporting computer rooms, including a data center, an exhibition hall, and a switch station. There are three buildings in total. MCC CCID Group, a state-owned enterprise in Chongqing, takes the lead in the project and is the general contractor of the construction. The project adopts the concept of full-cycle low-carbon and efficient construction, and is a hybrid construction model project that integrates three construction solutions: "prefabricated modular + steel structure + civil construction". Compared with traditional construction methods, there are no dusty and messy building materials at the construction site. Instead, the building structure and internal hardware equipment are designed and divided, all prefabricated in the factory, and then quickly assembled on site like building blocks. This construction model reduces the construction period by more than 50% compared with similar projects.
According to the relevant person in charge of MCC Saidi, the data center is built with prefabricated modular computer rooms.
